PALATINE

Palatine is a French folk-rock band with roots in Paris. Vincent Ehrhart-Devay (guitar, autoharp and vocals), Jean-Baptiste Soulard (guitar and backing vocals), Adrien Deygas (bass and double bass) and Toma Milteau (drums) offer music imbued with an atmospheric ambience.

In 2018, Palatine released their debut album Grand Paon de nuit, recounting the laments of a man lost in the turmoil of unhappiness and happiness in love.

In 2021, the band returns to the forefront with Talismanie, a collection of five songs about women and the changing contours of their representations. This ep plunges us into mutant folk-rock with Americana melodic inflections, a vibe of wide-open spaces, twilight ambiences, untied lyricism, languorous wetness and suave, high-pitched, penetrating vocals.

Palatine are back with Château Lointaine and La Sentinelle Amadouée, two first extracts from their new album Phantômaton, released on January 20, 2023. The band once again takes us into its unique, dreamlike, literate universe, carried by a heady guitar loop with these two intense, intimate songs.
